This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and homeowners. **Please note this is a part-time position** RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounting: Proper accounting of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries for each assigned HOA.Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the HOA's financial goals.Reporting: Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for the HOA board and management.Auditing: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits that may arise, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.Assessment Collection: Assist with managing the collection of HOA dues and assessments, including follow-up on delinquent accounts.Communication: Provide clear and accurate financial information to homeowners, board members, and management.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial operations for the HOA. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting, an HOA, or property management setting.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Bill.com).Treasury experience with banks preferred, but not required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
