“Upon my visit to Grouse Mountain, I was instantly submerged into a winter wonderland. The SKYRIDE gondola transported us to the summit, where a crowd of vibrant winter enthusiasts awaited. As new groups arrived, they seamlessly blended into the existing scene, creating a mesmerizing tapestry of activity. As I glanced around, a crow gently perched on a snow-covered table, sparking a whimsical thought of joining it for tea or perhaps skiing. Suddenly, the crowd dispersed, each individual revealing their chosen activity - skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, skating, or simply walking. It was as if each person was an actor in a grand play, immersing themselves in the natural setting. While engrossed in the spectacle, I noticed the striking blue eyes of the snow beneath me, a surreal moment that took my breath away. The scene was so pure, so white, words fail to capture its essence. Meanwhile, the lively festival continued around me. The mountain echoed with the sounds of skiers, snowboarders, children playing, adults gleefully reverting to their childhood, and the joyful laughter of people on sleds that sparkled like Rudolph's sleigh. To my relief, amidst the flurry, a tent offered a respite - filled with outdoor gear, refreshments, and a place to unwind. As some left through the expansive entrance, others poured in, maintaining the festival's vibrant energy. On a subsequent visit to Grouse Mountain, it revealed a different charm. And during the festive season, it transformed into a magical festival of lights, illuminating the winter night sky.”

“While the vistas from Grouse Mountain are pleasant, one might argue that they are no more impressive than those witnessed from various hikes around the city. Furthermore, the hike up to the mountain itself offers a rewarding experience. The Lumberjack show, while entertaining, did not particularly stand out as a unique spectacle. Seeing bears, a potential highlight for some, can also be achieved through a few well-planned road trips. It's also worth noting that there has been a noticeable increase in the round trip fare since the pre-pandemic period. This shift is somewhat disconcerting and calls into question the approach towards tourism in Canada.”

The Mountain Admission Ticket provided round-trip travel via the Skyride and access to a variety of family-friendly activities and attractions. Unlike the confined feeling I experienced at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Grouse Mountain allowed me to roam freely at the mountain's peak. I also had the chance to take the zipline tour, which was a thrilling adventure. Conveniently, I bought the tickets online prior to arriving. Additionally, the provision of a free shuttle service between Canada Place and Grouse Mountain every 20 minutes during the summer added to the seamless experience.”
