“I visited Manba for the first time at the end of the season, which concluded on March 5th. Initially, I noticed several spots at the base of the mountain where the bare ground was visible, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't impact my ability to ski smoothly. Especially, lift No. 4 offered a seamless experience. The conditions were a bit rough in the early morning, but as the sun came out, the snow quickly became moist. By midday, it turned quite damp due to the warmth. Despite these changes, the overall experience was enjoyable.”

“I regularly visit Manba, a ski slope in the Kansai region, around once a year. The location is conveniently accessible and boasts excellent snow quality, making it an ideal spot for skiing before unwinding at the nearby hot springs. Manba is connected to the adjacent Okujinbe Ski Resort, allowing seamless back-and-forth access between both slopes using a single lift ticket. This gives me a diverse choice of courses to enjoy without ever growing tired of the skiing experience. On the Manba side, the thrill of the course's ups and downs around the 4th lift adds to the excitement. If you choose to get off halfway on the first lift, you'll find a mellow slope that's beginner-friendly. However, the forest track, despite being labeled as a beginner's course, is narrow and includes some steep slopes. For those who are new to skiing, it might require a bit of courage to ascend to the peak.”

“I had a great time at Manba, particularly after a heavy snowfall. There's something special about skiing on fresh, untouched snow - it adds an extra layer of excitement. I particularly enjoyed finding new landing spots that made use of the unique terrain, they were perfect for those of us who love the thrill of a powder landing. Of course, the snow gets rough as the day progresses and more people ski on it, but if you're skilled, it just adds to the challenge and fun. Manba also caters to beginners with a gentle slope at the base which is perfect for those just starting out or finding their ski legs. The slope might be a bit tough if your ski wax isn't doing its job, but no worries, there's a conveyor to help you out. The best part is that Manba is connected to Okukami-nabe, and you can access both with one ticket. Although, I was disappointed to learn that the discount day will not be available in 2023. Despite its size, Manba has a lot to offer. Its convenient location close to the parking lot and just 30 minutes away from the Kitakinki Toyooka Expressway means you can easily fit in a lot of skiing. I can confidently say, it's worth the trip.”

“I appreciate Manba for its compact yet broad slopes. Despite its size, it's often relatively uncrowded, making it my preferred slope. Additionally, having a joint lift ticket with Okukami Nabe located nearby provides an opportunity to enjoy both venues.”
