As one of California's oldest resorts, it is impressively well-maintained, featuring efficient ski lifts and beautifully groomed runs. It stands as my preferred large-scale resort in the Donner summit area, offering a less crowded experience than Northstar and Palisade’s. The rooms, service, and location all merit a five-star rating.”

“I had an exceptional experience at the Sugar Bowl ski resort in Tahoe. The awe-inspiring terrain makes one feel as though they have traveled to a distant foreign land. Accessible only by a gondola adds a unique charm to the journey. The scenery is breathtaking, adding to the overall beauty of the place. The employees, particularly the manager, Jose, were extremely cordial. My trip was a holiday, and I was accompanied by my friends. The rooms, service, and location all deserved a perfect score. The resort had an amazing view, was peaceful and quiet, and offered a romantic ambiance.”

“Experiencing some difficulty with the online ordering process, I was unable to reach out to the customer care team via phone, chat, or email. However, to my relief, they returned my call three days later, by which time I was already at the resort. Fortunately, the on-site customer service was commendable as they adjusted the price to match the online ones. While the service could use some improvement, the location was quite satisfactory.”
