“My visit to Tamarack Resort was solely for a one-day guided white water rafting expedition on the Cabarton with my out-of-state friends. The experience was truly remarkable, thanks to our guide, Andrew. He was not only fun and intelligent but also highly conscious about our safety, patient, and had a great sense of humor. Jeff, our bus driver, ensured we were well taken care of during our journey. Even the lunch provided was fantastic. I would love to repeat this adventure, specifically requesting for Andrew to guide us again. The service and location of Tamarack Resort definitely deserve a perfect rating.”

“I've visited Tamarack Resort twice during February and each time, the conditions are exceptional. The mountain offers a wonderful mix of terrains with trails extending up to 4+ miles. The village is delightful, but it only has two dinner spots - Seven Devils and The Reserve. I've enjoyed both takeaway meals and dine-in experiences at these places. I stayed in Rosebury 304, a condo that boasts top-notch finishes and furnishings. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, however, I wish there was a breakfast spot and an additional dinner restaurant. I'd also appreciate if the coffee and ice cream shops could extend their operating hours until 9 PM. My trip to the resort was a vacation with friends. The rating I would give for the rooms, service, and location is 5 out of 5. The lodge condos where we stayed were remarkable with modern and high-quality finishes and furnishings. In terms of activities, there's not much to do in the evenings. The addition of an activity center with amenities like pool tables, darts, an arcade, and a sports bar ambiance could make the evenings more entertaining. Despite the limited food and drink options, the quality is excellent. However, I would love to see more variety and longer operating hours. The highlights of the hotel for me are its luxury, great view, romantic and quiet ambiance, kid-friendly nature, and exceptional value.”

“My stay at the Tamarack Resort was in a golden bar condo, which could use some minor upkeep. Specifically, the bathroom doors between the bunk and guest room, as well as the door leading to the lower deck, did not lock. However, the condo's location was superb for accessing the ski slopes. One of the highlights of my visit was an adult skiing lesson with Tucker Hyatt. His instruction was outstanding, and I significantly expanded my skills while enjoying a wonderful day on the mountain. His contribution to my experience deserves a five-star rating. The trip was a family vacation, and we occupied three rooms at the resort. The service was excellent and the resort's location was satisfactory. Overall, the experience at Tamarack Resort provided great value.”

“Tamarack Resort is essentially a property development with an attached ski area. The surroundings are impressive, boasting good terrain, modern lifts, and stunning views. However, unlike other ski resorts I've been to, Tamarack notably lacks a common indoor space for guests to rest and warm up included with the lift ticket. Instead, they have a network of restaurants where signs deter you from eating your own food. Rather than catering to the basic needs of their guests with a conventional base lodge, Tamarack has opted to construct an imitation European village. While architecturally intriguing, it falls short in providing simple amenities. Need to adjust your boots or dry your gloves? You're directed to a restaurant. If someone in your group needs a break, the steak house may be their only option. For your children's needs, you may have to resort to a tap house. As you make your way in, you will notice a plethora of property advertisements, a sales office right by the ticket dispenser, and upon reaching the lift, a sign indicates that half of the gates are reserved for an upgrade club. To me, the sense of belonging to a ski community is more appealing than feeling like just another skier.”
