Yogo Kogen Übersicht

Yogo Kogen is a well-known ski resort, frequented by both beginner and intermediate skiers. Known for its quality snow and variety of courses, the resort offers a unique skiing experience. However, it's recommended to avoid visiting on weekends due to the large crowds, ensuring a more comfortable and less crowded experience.

This resort is particularly acclaimed for the Monte Rosa and Valle Blanche courses, which offer a blend of gentle and steep slopes, suitable for both beginners and intermediate skiers. The Brevan course is another highlight, providing a less steep slope, perfect for those seeking a leisurely ski. Beginners are also directed towards the Brevent course, located below the C lift intermediate station, offering a comfortable skiing experience.

Despite its popularity, there are some areas where the resort could improve. The maintenance of the courses is one such issue, with some visitors finding the snow to be lumpy and hardened. This, along with the shaved snow left by the staff at the lift entries and exits, can make it difficult to ski and potentially hazardous.

Additionally, the frequent stopping of the lifts due to people falling and the inability to remove the board before getting on the lift have been noted as areas requiring attention. Other issues include the absence of credit card facilities, poor parking lot guidance leading to accidents, and long queues during busy rental periods.

Despite these shortcomings, Yogo Kogen remains a valued ski resort in the Kansai region. The management is encouraged to address these issues to enhance the overall skiing experience for its visitors. With its beautiful courses, quality snow, and potential for improvement, the resort holds promise for an even better skiing experience in the future.
