“My visit to Yuzawa Nakazato was delightful, primarily due to its expansive and impressive ski landscape. I primarily utilized the children's park for my kids to play, which provided an enjoyable tubing experience that outweighs traditional sledding. The best part is the unlimited access once the facility fee is covered. The tubes aren't just for children - adults will find them equally entertaining. I highly recommend them. Additionally, the site offered an opportunity to relish the powder snow, a natural spectacle in itself. Although the restaurant was bustling with people, I'm eager to revisit given another opportunity.”

“Upon arriving at Yuzawa Nakazato, I found a children's park located conveniently next to the parking lot. This park provides rental equipment and a rest area named the Blue Train, making the resort ideal for families with young children. For those new to skiing, there is a snow elevator available which makes the experience much more manageable. The ski resort is expansive, providing ample space to ski at ease when you venture towards the edge. Families and beginner skiers appreciate the strategic location of the lift and ski slope next to the children's park, and the beginner slope situated near the main gate. These locations allow for easy access and a sense of security with the proximity to the children's park. However, one must be mindful of the timing of their visit. During peak hours, the resort can get quite crowded, making the experience less enjoyable. Make sure to choose the right time for the best experience.”

“I visited the Yuzawa Nakazato ski resort for the first time on January 23, 2023. The resort is of a comfortable size and ideal for those just starting out in skiing. I was impressed with the option to rent ski jackets and pants and there was a broad range of vibrant colors to choose from. Even more, the staff was attentive and helped select skis that matched the color of my outfit, ensuring a coordinated look. I would advise future visitors to be mindful of the shuttle bus and JR train schedules, but these are minor issues that can be easily managed. For non-skiers, the resort features a restaurant with a direct view of the slopes, providing an opportunity for parents to watch their kids ski. The food there was both affordable and tasty. I would certainly revisit if given the opportunity!”
