HOURLY RATE- $21.69 FULL TIME HOURS Overnight shiftsDecember- March12-hour shifts WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Groomer I is an entry level slope grooming position. This position is responsible for using groomer equipment and techniques that are essential to maintaining ski and snowboard terrain at Blue Mountain Resort on time and to the highest standards. Groom primarily green and blue runs and at times assist Groomer Operators - II, Team Leads and Managers on Duty with more difficult terrain and buildsPerform pre shift circle checks and paperwork - post shift duties including housekeeping duties and mandatory paperworkRecognize and report equipment issues and property damageWork with a GPS system to improve decision making and increase efficiencyRecognize and report or repair potential safety issues including but not limited to lighting, signage, padding and/or poor skiing/snowboarding surfacesMaintain a good working relationships and open communication with Snowmaking, Slope Maintenance, Patrol, Lifts, Terrain Park, Events and other on-hill staff WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
