These associates are also responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Job Specifications: Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $21.78/hr Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026 Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: Yes Essential Job Responsibilities: Checking guests’ ski or snowboard equipment into the storage area. Execute daily operations by opening and/or closing ski check outlets. Answer any resort-specific questions from guests. Demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and guests. Provide high level customer service to all guests. Adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations of Vail Resorts and Afton Alps. Create and maintain a productive and safe work environment, including the completion of all company-mandated safety-related training and assessments. Ensure all ski check locations are clean and present a professional appearance to our guests, staff, and purveyors. Assist other departments, as needed. Adhere to and role model the company’s mission, vision, and values. Other duties, as assigned. Job Requirements: Ability to multi-task. Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail, and timeliness. A flexible schedule is required during peak times throughout the year. Must be willing to work evenings, holidays, and weekends – Required. Previous customer service experience – Preferred. High level of interpersonal skills to ensure: teamwork, high level guest contact, and commitment to guest service. Must demonstrate ability to receive and give direction and act upon it. Understand basic skiing and snowboarding terminology – Required. Ability to communicate fluently with coworkers and guests in English.
