Attendants will create a friendly, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for guests, members, and other staff while delivering memorable Stratton experiences. This is a part-time seasonal position, compensated at $20.00/hour. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Positively interact with members, guests, and team membersAnswer questions and troubleshoot guest needsEnsure guests are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for activities, fitting them with rental equipment as neededCare, organization, and cleaning of all equipment, including rental equipment and facilitiesProvide members and guests with instruction on equipment useIdentify safety issues and communicate with managementSell day and season passes for activity locations (Climb, Ice Skating, Tubing), along with snacks and retail itemsFollow and complete opening/closing proceduresComplete the guest check in processesProcess payment and ensure safety waivers are completeEnforce facility and resort safety procedures & protocolsMinor cleaning of facilities and equipmentComplete and follow any required certification training and Stratton safety trainingsAdditional duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: Actively pursuing a High School Diploma, or equivalent Experience: Previous resort or outdoor recreation experience, preferred QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Team members will be required to pass basic certifications and trainings along with safety trainings (provided after hire)Must be 16+ years of ageBasic computer and phone skillsMust be able to work independentlyMust be able to lift items up to 30 lbMust be able to bend, stand, lean, and kneel on a regular basis PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position will require you to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
