This role ensures the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean, safe, and organized, supporting overall kitchen operations and contributing to a positive dining experience. Must be willing to work as a part of a team to assure an enjoyable working environment, and quality guest experience. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Scrape, wash, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand.Maintain a clean and orderly dishwashing area, ensuring all cleaned items are properly stored and accessible for kitchen and serving staff.Keep floors and surfaces free of spills and debris by sweeping and mopping floors.Regularly emptying trash and recycling.Assist with general kitchen duties by assisting with basic food prep or receiving deliveries.Monitor dishwashing machine for proper temperature and chemical levels, reporting any malfunctions or issues to a supervisor immediately.Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.Be a team player and help both back of house and front of house staff.Secondary Responsibilities: Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Other duties as assigned Specific Job Skills: License/Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided) Technical - Basic kitchen and cooking skills preferred Physical Capabilities - Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift. Lifting 25lbs up to 50lbs Additional - Worksite is 100% inside and you will be exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.
