“I utilized Asahi primarily for skiing. It offers three primary trails. The first is a gentle route, perfect for beginners and can be enjoyed by young children. The remaining two are lengthier and segmented for experienced skiers. These advanced routes are less crowded, making it more enjoyable to navigate. However, transitioning from the novice trail to the other routes can be somewhat challenging. Skiing on a predominantly flat, snow-covered path can be quite exhausting. Despite this, the resort is family-friendly, offering free access for children during the weekends, and special deals for women on Saturdays. One of the highlights of Asahi is the breathtaking panoramic view of the mountain from the peak, especially on a clear day. It's an added attraction that enhances the overall experience.”

“Immersed in the tranquility of nature, I found Asahi to be an idyllic retreat. The winter months provide ample opportunities for skiing, while the arrival of spring brings with it an array of outdoor activities and camping experiences. Although the facility carries a touch of age, it is commendably well-preserved. The rooms and service met my expectations, and the location was above average, allowing for a truly enjoyable stay.”

“I visited the Asahi cottage in mid-September and arrived after dark following a journey on a pitch black mountain road. Despite the initial fear, I was happy to arrive safely and check into the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the location was a ski resort. The staff, particularly one of the male employees, was very kind which put me at ease. The cottage was well-equipped with tableware, a microwave oven, and pots and pans, making it perfect for a light BBQ and a comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom and toilet were combined, offering the convenience of a hotel bathroom. It does get chilly at night, so I recommend dressing warmly. The crisp morning air was a refreshing start to the day. Considering the type of trip, it was a family vacation. I would rate the rooms and service a 5, while the location was slightly less perfect, at a 3. The highlights of the hotel included the great view, tranquillity, it being kid-friendly, and offering great value.”
