Ax 3 Domaines – Ax-les-Thermes

“My experience at Ax 3 Domaines – Ax-les-Thermes was quite disappointing. Despite an enticing online presentation, the reality did not live up to the expectations. I had to travel quite a distance, only to find a sledding area that was poorly maintained. The sledding track was essentially on grass and lacked any substantial slope, making it almost unusable. The quality of the product offered was not up to par, and I felt let down by the experience.”

“I frequently visit Ax 3 Domaines - Ax-les-Thermes in the winter months, however, my recent experience has been quite disappointing. The station was unfortunately not fully operational, operating only at around 40% of its capacity. It's understandable that the amount of snowfall is beyond anyone's control, but I observed a noticeable reduction in the staff numbers, regardless of whether the station was half or fully open. I felt a reassessment of the value offered could have helped mitigate some of the disappointment. Therefore, I'm inclined to discourage others from visiting under similar circumstances.”

“I had quite a disappointing experience at Ax 3 Domaines – Ax-les-Thermes. I was thrilled about the fresh snowfall the night before, expecting a fantastic skiing day ahead. However, I had to wait for a considerable amount of time to collect my pass due to an internet issue, and then again to get on the lift. A majority of the slopes remained closed until 11 a.m., and most of the slopes were not groomed, which was disappointing for downhill skiers like me. The resort seemed unprepared for snowfalls. Furthermore, the ski lifts were dated and in poor condition, requiring frequent stops which disrupted the skiing experience. It was also overcrowded with mostly inexperienced skiers. This made my experience even more unfavorable. If the place was not as crowded, perhaps I might have overlooked these issues. Having been to better-managed resorts, the shortcomings of this one were difficult to ignore. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Ax-les-Thermes.”

“My experience at Ax 3 Domaines – Ax-les-Thermes was less than satisfactory. I was quite disappointed to find that they charge for the tobogganing area, something I've not encountered before despite having visited numerous stations. Adding to the frustration is that we couldn't fully enjoy the area and were made to ski on land. In my opinion, it would be more honorable to shut down this space, as it appears to be more of a money-making endeavor rather than an enjoyable experience, especially for our little ones.”
