Okemo Mountain Resort

“I enjoyed my time at Okemo Mountain Resort even though I didn't stay at the resort itself. The slopes were great for a beginner like me, especially with the progression terrain park and three wide bunny hills with carpets. I found the Jackson side more suitable for beginners and appreciated the cozy fire pit after a day of skiing. However, there was no shuttle parking on this side. The main mountain side offered shuttle services, although it became quite slow when everyone wanted to depart at the same time after the lifts closed. The slopes on the main mountain side offered a more thrilling ride, with one trail leading directly through an underpass. The rental process was quick and the staff were amicable. The only downsides were the icy conditions on the slopes during my visit and the lack of high-speed lifts. The longer lift rides to the top were somewhat tedious, but I did appreciate the slower pace when disembarking at the top. I visited the resort on vacation with my friends.”

“I had an excellent experience at Okemo Mountain Resort, especially enjoying the immediate ski access from the lodge. Although the lodge isn't brand new, it's well-maintained and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The space was ample with a large dining room, laundry facilities, and beautiful bathrooms. There was one minor issue with a dirty shower curtain liner in one bathroom, but overall, the place was clean. However, the toaster needs an upgrade - it's small and outdated. Also, the absence of kitchen towels was a bit of a letdown. The pool was nice, albeit overly chlorinated, and the two hot tubs were a delight, although you need to bring your own towels. The weather was a bonus - it snowed in the early morning and warmed up later. The resort was quiet, romantic, kid-friendly, and offered great views. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. In terms of ratings, I would give a 5 for the rooms and location, and a 4 for the service.”

“I recently enjoyed a mid-week day visit to Okemo Mountain Resort. The trails were well-groomed and had ample snow, contributing to a delightful skiing experience. The resort was not too crowded which allowed for plenty of runs! The resort offers a shuttle service from the base parking to the lifts. Although there's a lack of clear directions regarding the shuttle systems, I found the staff to be rather helpful in guiding me back. In terms of the resort's service and location, I'd rate them both a solid 4 out of 5. I wholeheartedly recommend Okemo for a fantastic day of snowboarding!”

“My first skiing experience at Okemo Mountain Resort was truly wonderful. The rental process was smooth, efficient, and the staff was friendly. We took lessons, and the instructors proved to be knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. My daughter progressed significantly in her skiing ability, even managing to ski in the terrain area. We lodged at the Jackson Gore condos, where the amenities were top-notch. From the gym to the hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, the facilities were excellently maintained. The cafeteria, however, was quite busy during lunchtime, making it a bit challenging to find a seat. The food was decent, but I would recommend arriving early to avoid the lunchtime rush, allowing for a more leisurely meal and more time on the slopes while others are dining. A highlight was the waffle cabin, where we indulged in delicious warm cider and freshly made chocolate and plain waffles. We spent a delightful weekend here and are already looking forward to our next visit. I traveled on vacation with my family. We were absolutely taken by the great view, and how kid-friendly the resort was. We rated the rooms, service, and location a perfect 5.”
