The Summit at Snoqualmie

“I recently visited The Summit at Snoqualmie. There was a minor issue with Google Maps misdirecting my location, but I'm optimistic that this place will surpass my previous experiences at similar venues. The visit happened on a weekday and I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency; I waited for no more than ten minutes.”

“My initial visit to The Summit at Snoqualmie left me rather underwhelmed. While the lift staff were commendable - personable, humorous, and lively - with one even retrieving my lost phone, the rest of the resort was quite disappointing. The rental shop, in particular, was off-putting, with a potent odor reminiscent of a high school locker room after a rainy football game. My wife's helmets were similarly unpleasant, leaving her with a lingering smell of stale sweat for the entire day, even during our ride home. Upon returning our gear, we discovered the source of the smell - while the boots received a minimal spray of disinfectant, the helmets were simply placed back in the bin without any cleaning. The staff seemed more interested in their phones than in maintaining cleanliness. Further, the cafeteria was visibly aged and could benefit from an update. The bathrooms were in a similar state, emitting an unpleasant smell and giving the impression that they had not been cleaned for quite some time. The overall lack of cleanliness has deterred us from planning a return visit unless improvements are made. Our experiences at Stevens and Mission Ridge were far superior.”

“I am quite fond of The Summit at Snoqualmie and I have yet to explore every area of it. My experiences at the Summit West have always been enjoyable. The staff is approachable and supportive. In fact, when my girlfriend misplaced her phone, they discovered it and kindly secured it until after the season had ended. This place never ceases to impress me.”

“I found The Summit at Snoqualmie to be an excellent place for beginners to learn skiing. I would advise future visitors to purchase their lift tickets and rentals over the internet. However, I noticed that the pickup time for rentals, particularly boots, tends to be later than the advertised 4pm for night use, due to other patrons returning their equipment at that time. While the food at the lodge is plentiful enough to share between two people, I did find it on the pricey side. Be aware that the place attracts a lot of children, so extra caution is required when moving around the busy areas.”
