“2023 Update: My recent experience at Willamette Pass Resort was quite a departure from my prior visits. As a snowboarding enthusiast who began last year, I decided to bring my children to try out the lessons on the bunny slopes while my parents observed. However, we discovered that in order for them to do so, they needed a lift ticket and rentals, despite only being there to observe their grandchildren. I would strongly suggest the creation of a spectator area overlooking the beginner area, as we were not alone in facing this problem. The designated spot for my parents to watch was a bar which only had views of the black diamond and advanced hills, with no visibility of the bunny slope. This visit was unfortunately disappointing, with one staff member, who claimed to be the owner, demonstrating a lack of courtesy and unhelpfulness unless additional expenditure was incurred. 2022: My weekend at Willamette Pass Resort was a genuinely enjoyable experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating and patient throughout my snowboarding lesson. I look forward to my future visits!”

I had a misfortunate night where my vehicle broke down and I was left in the cold. Thankfully, I found solace at the resort where they warmly welcomed me. They offered me coffee and even fired up the grill to prepare some food for me. I was provided with a comfortable place to sit and wait until the resort officially opened. The compassion and generosity shown to me by the staff truly touched me, making me feel safe and cared for in a time of distress. Their actions were a clear demonstration of genuine human kindness.”
