The main goal of these positions is to ensure high quality service and exceed all our customers' expectations for an efficiently operated event. All applicants should be experienced in the service industry particularly serving guests at upscale restaurants, working catering events or bartending. Fine dining service experience preferred. This is a seasonal role with full-time and part-time opportunities available. This role is compensated at $8.75/hr + tips. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Setting up & breaking down prior to & post serviceAbility to create & maintain positive rapport with everchanging clienteleClear understanding of the steps of service in an upscale/fine dining environmentDaily close-outs and deposits, as assignedTo arrive at your shift in uniform, well groomed, with a positive attitudePossesses a proficient knowledge of wine, beer & liquorHandle all guest concerns in a professional and timely mannerAdditional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Previous service industry experienceVermont DLC certificationFlexible work schedule that may include early mornings and will include nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to lift and walk with at least 40 poundsAbility to follow directionsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentCertified to serve alcohol in accordance with Vermont State Liquor LawsMust be organized, be able to multitask and be able to make quick independent decisions PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
