Snowmakers must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. Snowmaking is a physically demanding job. Snow is expected to be made whenever temperatures allow, many snowmaking shifts will occur overnight. Part-time and full-time seasonal positions available. The wage range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr, based upon experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Pre-season preparation (brush cutting, snow gun and pipeline installation and snow gun setup)Safe and efficient operation of snowmaking equipment to produce the quality snow that Stratton guests expectComplete maintenance on snowmaking equipmentMaintain a clean work environmentWork with minimal supervisionAssist other departments and fill in as neededFollow all company safety policiesAdditional duties as required EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent, required Experience: Previous snowmaking experience, preferredPrevious experience operating snowmobiles, preferred QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Must be 18+ years of ageAbility to lift and carry up to 70 poundsAbility to work in all winter conditions, including snow, rain, wind, iceValid driver's license with a record that meets Stratton's driver policyAbility to work a flexible schedule, which may include 12 hour &/or overnight shifts PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
