“I had a wonderful visit to Almenwelt Lofer, a truly beautiful place teeming with free-roaming cows. I went on a day trip there with my family, primarily because my seven-year-old daughter was eager to tackle the treasure hunt with Lofi. Although the altitude provided a significant challenge, she successfully managed to complete all five stations of the hike with her dad. Regarding our youngest, who is two years old, we decided to visit the Kechtalm and Loderbichl huts instead of the long hike. Although the walk up the car paths was steep at times with a stroller, these huts turned out to be a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious and the overall experience was worth it. We visited on a weekday and didn't experience any wait times. As for reservations, I am unsure whether they are necessary or not.”

“I cherished my visit to Almenwelt Lofer, a comfortably snug ski area that was incredibly accommodating and enjoyable for children. Regrettably, the skiing conditions on the slopes were less than ideal due to the weather, an aspect beyond the control of the ski area. I went there on a weekend and experienced a rather short wait time of less than 10 minutes. Interestingly, there was no need for a reservation, making the experience more spontaneous and convenient.”

“The charming town of Lofer is continuously improving its Alpine world, demonstrating a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity. The Almenwelt Lofer is a delight for families, offering a gnome/dwarf hiking trail and creatively designed playgrounds complete with water features, climbing zones, swings, and slides spread out over the alpine pasture, making it perfect for day trips or even two-day excursions. The well-developed circular trails serve as an excellent starting point for hiking enthusiasts eager to explore the Loferer Steinberge. I visited on a weekday and was pleased to find no waiting time, and there was no need for a reservation.”
