“Despite the lack of abundant snowfall in the northern region, the team at Bretton Woods has been industrious in their efforts to open and upkeep the trails. On my first skiing trip this year, I was met with impeccable conditions given the limited availability.”

“I always have an excellent time skiing at Bretton Woods! The snow is consistently well groomed and they offer trails suitable for every skill level. However, I must point out that the parking lot can become quite muddy when the temperature rises. Improving the parking lot surface would greatly enhance the overall experience. I visited Bretton Woods for a solo vacation.”

“Bretton Woods offers a variety of trails to cater to all levels of skiing expertise, including wide open trails for both fast and slow skiers, and numerous smaller, tighter trails. Its location next to Mt Washington ensures a constant supply of snow, although it can be windy at times, causing occasional gondola shutdowns. The lodge provides a great selection of food, even during weekdays. Although it is a bit of a trek from metro Boston for a day trip, it is definitely feasible. The parking is nearby and straightforward, but I often opt for a stay at the Omni and use their shuttle service. The gondola is an absolute highlight, allowing for a warm and comfortable journey from the top to the bottom of the slopes. In my opinion, it is the best mountain in northern New Hampshire.”
