“On my visit to Grand Sunpia Inawashiro Snow Paradise, the parking situation was a bit challenging. Due to a large influx of visitors, I ended up parking in a remote lot which was almost filled to capacity by 11am. The shuttle service, though available, was somewhat strained due to the limited capacity, leaving me uncertain about the waiting duration. Consequently, I decided to forego skiing and depart. A word of advice - if you plan to visit during the year-end and New Year holidays, it's beneficial to gather parking information beforehand.”

“I recently visited the Grand Sunpia Inawashiro Snow Paradise and registered as an Inasuki member, which provided a discounted lift ticket rate on holidays. I also bought a priority ticket, which was beneficial as the resort was quite popular, especially with people from the Kanto area. Without the priority ticket, I would have faced a lift wait time of approximately 15-20 minutes, especially after noon when the crowd increased with families. The resort features two main slopes: the central slope and the Minero slope. The central slope is expansive, has a mild gradient and caters to all levels of skiers, while the Minero slope seems to be more suited to intermediate and advanced skiers. A unique feature of Inawashiro is a special course that allows you to take photos during a slalom run, which was quite entertaining. The resort's location ensures it gets ample sunlight, promptly turning the snow into a spring-like condition once the weather clears. If you're particular about the quality of snow, you might want to consider heading to Urabandai. Despite the wait times, I would recommend making a reservation for a smoother experience.”

“I had the chance to climb Mt. Bandai, which was beautifully adorned with autumn leaves. The summer lift was a convenient mode of transport, however, bear in mind that the last bus leaves quite early, at 2:10 p.m. Thus, if you're planning to utilize it for mountain climbing, you'll need to catch the first lift at 7:30 a.m. to ensure you return in time. The course is indeed challenging and may actually take longer than the estimated time. Be aware that if you miss the last lift, you won't get a refund and it might be quite exhausting walking down the slope with weary legs. However, if you manage to catch the lift on the way back, it's truly an exceptional mountain climbing course with diverse scenery. I can't recommend it enough.”

The process to acquire the lift pass was simple and efficient, I just had to scan a QR code, fill in my details, and much to my delight, I was handed a complimentary all-day lift pass! The variety of runs was impressive, ranging from beginner-friendly green runs to the more challenging black ones. I appreciated the uncrowded atmosphere, likely because it was a Monday. Plus, they offer on-the-spot snowboard waxing at no extra charge! I would absolutely suggest this place for anyone eager to enjoy a fantastic day on the slopes.”
