“I found the experience at Kenmin-no-mori to be absolutely splendid! The snow was natural and soft, providing a great environment for enjoyment. It was pleasantly uncrowded, offering a sense of freedom and personal space. The abundance of trees added to the overall beauty of the place, creating a beautiful snowy landscape.”

“Upon my visit to Kenmin-no-mori, I found the ski conditions to be excellent, due to the fresh snowfall. The ski slope is relatively small, serviced by only two lifts. A commendable feature was the transport service for skis, making it easier for those having to traverse from the parking lot to the slopes. However, there were a few areas that could be improved for a more enjoyable experience: 1. The lift seats were icy and extremely cold to sit on. A simple solution such as sweeping them with a broom could greatly enhance the comfort of the riders. 2. The resort only accepts cash payments, which might not be convenient for everyone. 3. The lack of operational information on the website was a drawback. Essential details like snowfall updates and lift suspensions were missing. The only available information was regarding holidays, forcing me to rely on other websites for updates about ski conditions. On a different note, the journey to the ski resort was a challenge, as some portions of Route 314, particularly a 10km stretch, were not adequately cleared of snow, making it difficult to drive. Although snow removal was evident near the ski resorts, it was strangely lacking in the middle section of the route. I initially attributed this to a lack of time, but after witnessing the snowplow passing over the snow without clearing it three times, I wondered if this was due to inexperience or a deliberate attempt to avoid damaging the asphalt. Regardless, this method only resulted in compacting the snow, making driving difficult. I would advise future visitors to be aware of this while planning their trip.”
