“My previous experiences with St. Englmar have generally been positive, however, my visit on February 4th left a lot to be desired. I was subjected to a lengthy 30-minute wait to acquire a lift ticket, and a further 45-minute delay up the mountain due to recurring issues with the lift and turnstile. These technical difficulties were quite frustrating. It also seemed like there was a lack of adequate snow, which was disappointing. Additionally, I noticed a number of staff members who seemed to lack the necessary qualifications.”

“I had a wonderful experience at the Sankt Englmar ski school. My son thoroughly enjoyed himself. The 3-day basic course offered by Friedrich was an incredible experience. The staff was extremely cordial and helpful. The coffee shop nearby is worth a visit as well. The restaurant adjacent to the preaching chair served scrumptious food. However, I would suggest skipping the Berggasthof Markbuchen and instead looking for a snack bar.”

“The Predigtstuhl Arena offers a decent skiing experience, although there were a few drawbacks during my visit. Out of the four lifts available, only one was operational. Additionally, the slopes were not well-maintained or groomed. Despite the presence of 50cm of fresh snow, only one out of the five pistes was navigable. The accessibility was also a concern, as I had to traverse through 60cm of snow over a 1km distance from the hotel to the lift.”
