Aperçu de Sonnenkopf – Klösterle

Sonnenkopf – Klösterle is a highly recommended, all-season ski resort that offers an array of activities for visitors of all ages. The resort is immensely popular for skiing, sledding, and hiking during the winter months, while the off-season presents opportunities for nature hiking and savouring the grandiose scenery. Families, in particular, find it an ideal spot, with a safe play area for children and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.

The resort features a great ski area with perfect snow conditions and sunny weather, suitable for all difficulty levels. It uses a convenient system where visitors only need to scan their ski card to get up the mountain in the gondola, eliminating the need for queues at every T-bar lift. While it can get quite crowded during the holidays, the resort is well-organised and offers free parking with helpful assistants.

In addition to skiing, visitors can enjoy other winter activities such as sledding and snowshoeing. During the summer, the resort transforms into a haven for families, with a special playground known as "Bearland" that offers fun and entertainment for children. The restaurant, while not particularly noted for its cuisine, provides a comfortable area for parents to relax while their kids play.

Despite being smaller than the larger Arlberg area, Sonnenkopf – Klösterle is a more affordable alternative and even accepts the Arlberg Skipass. The resort's staff is known for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the facilities are praised for their cleanliness and organisation.

However, some visitors note that the runs can be short and often icy, and the resort may not offer reimbursements when the slopes lack sufficient snow. Furthermore, while it is highly recommended for less confident skiers, advanced skiers may find the runs less challenging. Despite these minor drawbacks, Sonnenkopf – Klösterle remains a popular destination for family outings, skiing trips, and serene nature hikes.
