Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resortsFriends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only)Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shiftSubsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staffDiscounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park CityHealthcare options are available for staff members401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Mountain Host Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Mountain Host Manager in leading the mountain host department in fulfilling the company's goal of providing the Deer Valley Difference in collaboration with the rest of the DV team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Continually evaluate the Mountain Host offerings and provide thoughtful improvements using the Three Circle Model as a guide Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating mountain host staff Assist is scheduling guest tours in the winter Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Supervisory or management experience required Expert level of technical skiing skill required Thorough knowledge of the Deer Valley Resort - including on-mountain services, ski trails, and lifts Knowledge of historical and local offerings in Park City and the surrounding community Appropriate physical condition. Able to ski up to 8 hours a day and be able to lift 35 lbs. Experience with Microsoft Office platforms. Specifically, Word, Excel, and Forms DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time Winter 2025-26 (November-April) PAY: $25/hr Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
