“I found Apex Mountain Resort to be a fantastic place to visit, especially for locals. However, it's worth noting that it's not the simplest hill to navigate, so beginners in snowsports might find it challenging. The resort offers mostly groomed runs and plenty of options for powder skiing. My family and I visited during a holiday and overall, we were satisfied with the service, and the location is quite commendable.”

“During my three-night stay at Apex Mountain Resort in December 2023, I found the weather wasn't optimal for skiing. Despite the conditions, the rooms were incredible and offered ski in ski out functionality. Tubing was a highlight of our visit and the grooming of the slopes was excellent. The resort staff were welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. The fare at the base area restaurants was tasty and satisfying. I eagerly anticipate a return visit, hopefully with more favorable snow conditions and the skate loop in operation. I made my return in December 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed skiing on the resort's steeper terrain. My accommodation provided a breathtaking view of the slopes and allowed me to ski straight to my hotel, making for a relaxing evening. The resort offers an array of activities including skiing, tubing, ice skating, and hockey. Apex village has everything you could need, making for easy access and convenience. The mountain restaurants and coffee shops are conveniently located near your hotel and the slopes, offering a good variety of food choices. The hotel is luxurious, provides excellent views, and is both romantic and kid-friendly, making it a great value.”

“My partner and I ventured out to Apex Mountain Resort, traveling two hours from Lake Country, eager to enjoy the open skate loop which was open until 10pm. We arrived at 3:30pm and my partner needed to rent skates. We were informed that we could rent them but had to return them either by 4:00pm or 9am the next day. We had assumed, due to the late hours of the skate loop, there would be a drop box or another method for returning the skates after hours, as we were previously told over the phone. Unfortunately, the website did not provide clear information and the rental shop staff seemed unaware of the procedure. It was a letdown, as we expected for an activity that runs until 10pm, there would be services available to match those hours. Our overall experience left us feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. The location, however, was commendable.”

“Apex Mountain Resort offers an impressive amount of terrain to explore despite having only two chairlifts, making it feel more like an expansive local hill rather than a typical international resort. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the steep runs at the top are quite enjoyable. The staff at the lifts are friendly and they still use an old-school hand scanning system for tickets. Moreover, the view from the top is simply breathtaking; you can even spot Big White and Mt. Baldy. It's definitely worth spending a few days here to experience all the runs.”
