“I have been returning to the beautiful, manageable ski area of Brandnertal – Brand | ​Bürserberg for my skiing holidays for 17 years now due to its charm and appeal. However, I have some concerns. Since the ski area merged with Montafon, it's become quite inconvenient as there's no direct lift connection from Brandnertal to the rest. To ski in Montafon, one has to take a car ride over. Another point of contention for me is the encroachment of the ski clubs. While I understand their need to have a dedicated skiing zone, their expansion onto Piste3 is a bit disappointing. This slope is ideally located next to the T-bar lift, making it a perfect practice area for children. I'm also unsure about the benefits of this merger to the local community. It seems that families are now seeking more affordable options, shortening their stays, or opting to spend their holidays directly in the larger ski area. Despite these issues, Brand continues to be a fantastic holiday destination. The ski area is lovely and manageable, with excellent restaurants and incredibly friendly and helpful staff everywhere - from the cable car employees to the ski school instructors and various valley shopkeepers. While progress is important, sometimes it's necessary to reconsider certain changes.”

We often use the Brandner mountain railways to travel to the Burtschasattel, making winter a truly memorable experience for the kids. Our experiences on these trips are truly unparalleled. Despite using the service for free, every single staff member treats us with exceptional kindness, helpfulness, and politeness. This level of service starts from the moment we make our request, continues at the cash register and ends with the staff assisting us as we get in and out. I also appreciate the warm welcome we receive at the "frööd", where we can warm ourselves and use the facilities. I'm profoundly thankful for the hospitality and eagerly look forward to continuing to use this service in the future. “I found Brandnertal - Brand | Bürserberg to be a wonderful place to take a stroll with my dog. The slopes are well-maintained and adequate, although if you are a seasoned skier, you might find that three days are sufficient to explore what the place has to offer.”

“Visiting Brandnertal – Brand | Bürserberg during winter is consistently a unique experience that I would strongly recommend. The mountain and panoramic railway are absolutely a must-see. The staff members are exceptionally friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. In particular, the restaurant on the upper level provides excellent service and boasts a great variety of delicious food options. The apple strudel with vanilla cream is one standout dish that deserves a special shout-out. The view from there is truly breathtaking, although during my last visit, it was slightly obscured by chemtrails. The village itself has an irresistibly charming allure that I find quite impressive. And before I forget, their mulled wine is definitely not to be missed.”
