“I had a great experience at Mineyama Kogen. As a beginner, I found the three courses offered to be very accommodating. I highly suggest visiting on a weekday when it's less crowded. They also have rental services available for both wear and boards. The facility itself was well-maintained and quite clean. The food options were delightful, with the ramen being a standout. The Miso Ramen was particularly delicious. They also serve a hearty Cutlet Curry, which is quite fitting for the ski resort setting. I would highly recommend Mineyama Kogen for a ski trip, especially if you can take advantage of their special deals on Tuesdays and Thursdays.”

“I thoroughly enjoy visiting Mineyama Kogen, as it offers year-round recreational activities. During the summertime, it's a perfect destination for glamping, while in the winter, it transforms into a delightful ski resort. Not to mention, bikers would find the winding ride to reach Mineyama quite exhilarating.”

“Mineyama Kogen is the ideal ski resort for beginners and children, it was perfect for my 3 and 5-year-old kids. The beginner's course is spacious and lengthy, providing a great practice area for the little ones. We spent most of our time practicing at the base of the mountain. However, the lift lines can become quite long as the day goes on. The line was manageable in the morning, but by noon it had extended up the slope, making it challenging for the children. The real downside is the dining room, particularly the waiting time. One lunchtime, I spent 40 minutes in line before I could start eating. Even getting a glass of water could take about 5 minutes at peak times. The queue for noodles was faster than that for bowl dishes, and there are separate lines for each. Ideally, everyone in your group should order the same type of noodles for the quickest service. I'd like to see more food options, like a food truck outside the cafeteria or a vending machine for cup noodles. Despite the dining room experience, I enjoyed everything else about the resort, which is why I rated it 4 stars.”
