“I greatly enjoyed my experience at Sir Sam's. Despite its compact size, it is a delightful local ski/mountain bike hill. The upkeep is commendable and it provides a good deal of fun.”

“Having been a part of Sir Sam's community for over two decades, it's disheartening to witness the slow service, subpar food quality, and overcrowded skiing conditions. The chairlift often leaves one waiting for more than 15 minutes, despite less than half of the runs being operational. While dining at the restaurant, it required over 20 minutes just to place an order. The wait for food surpassed an hour, resulting in a disappointingly soggy poutine. It would be prudent for the current management to consider transitioning to a cafeteria-style restaurant to better cater to the influx of guests. Regarding the lift lines, there has been a sufficient amount of snow and cold weather to facilitate snowmaking and have the far side functioning at maximum capacity. As a long-standing member, I am eager to see these suggested improvements take place.”

“The view from the peak of Sir Sam's is absolutely breathtaking. Unfortunately, during my visit, their new platform was not yet open, but I foresee it becoming a must-see attraction in the near future. My interaction with the staff was delightful as they were well-informed, polite, and amicable. They even provided useful advice regarding the state and nature of the hiking trails.”

“I've been a regular at Sir Sam's for 35 years and I've noticed some recent changes that could use improvement. During my latest visit, I had to wait quite a while before being attended to in the restaurant, even though it was not very busy. I also noticed a staff member eating at the bar, which struck me as odd given the apparent shortage of staff. The meal itself was good - I ordered two sandwiches and a Diet Coke. The ski conditions were favorable, but I was disappointed by the long queue on Main Street and the fact that Eagle View was closed, contrary to what was stated on the website. On the plus side, the staff were all delightful and the food was enjoyable. However, it seems there may be some organizational issues that need to be addressed, particularly in regards to managing the restaurant staff and handling the lineups on the slopes. The attention to these details seems to be affecting the overall experience.”
