“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Vemdalsskalet, a superb Swedish ski resort which maintains an authentic charm as it is not overly crowded with tourists. I was even fortunate enough to spot some reindeers, which added to the overall unique experience. The prospect of future expansions is certainly exciting. Although it's not Åre, I must commend the quality of the slopes which were truly a delight to ski on.”

I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the mountain, the quality of skiing was truly top-notch. However, the architecture in the area left much to be desired. The buildings seemed oddly designed, with material choices that were questionable at best. The facades were poorly painted, and the entrances were far from inviting. It felt like the good intentions behind their creation were marred by poor execution. Sadly, the overall beauty of the place was somewhat diminished by the mismatched and aesthetically displeasing buildings, which felt starkly out of place amidst the surrounding natural splendor.”

“Vemdalskalet provides a superb skiing area that boasts well-kept slopes and breathtaking natural scenery. The quality of skiing is truly exceptional, making it a pleasure to spend time in the mountains. However, the architectural design in the vicinity leaves a lot to be desired. The structures appear peculiar, with questionable material utilization, inadequately painted exteriors, and unappealing entryways. Despite the good intentions, the execution seems off, resulting in an overall impression that is marred by some of the most incongruous and visually unpleasing buildings in Sweden. These buildings starkly contrast with the natural beauty of the surrounding environment.”

“I found Vemdalsskalet to have an impressive variety of ski slopes catering to all skill levels. I appreciated the fact that the trails were maintained every morning, ensuring great skiing conditions. The ski rental process was efficient and handled by professionals, making it a breeze. The mountain top cafes were a delightful surprise, offering not only great food but also stunning views. I also noticed warming houses at the start of some lifts and campfire sites for cooking, adding a unique touch to the experience. The ski lift operations were timely, running from 9 am to 4:30 pm. Overall, Vemdalsskalet made for an excellent ski holiday destination!”
