Cascade Mountain

“Cascade Mountain is undoubtedly the best ski area within a comfortable 3-hour drive. The ski runs provided an enjoyable experience, although some of the intermediate (blue) runs began to feel a bit repetitive after several trips down the mountain. The high-speed lifts were an excellent feature, significantly reducing wait times. Interactions with the staff were always pleasant; they were friendly and helpful. For those planning to rent equipment, I recommend arriving as early as possible, especially on the weekends, as there tends to be a rush for rentals about an hour after opening. The facilities were commendable, although they entail a significant amount of stair climbing. The food served was quite satisfying, just the kind of nourishment needed after a morning filled with skiing, and the coffee was a delightful treat after a long afternoon on the slopes. However, the absence of vegan food options was a slight disappointment. The ski lesson provided was quite efficient, but it lasted only an hour, which seemed to pass very quickly. All in all, my experience at Cascade Mountain was wonderful.”
