“I found the Greenpia Tsunan to be an exceptional place to stay, especially during the Snow Festival. The dinner buffet was particularly impressive, offering a high standard of food. The charm of the Snow Festival is so enticing that it makes me desire to visit annually.”

“I visited Greenpia Tsunan on a Saturday in February. Despite its remote location, the parking lot was busier than expected, however, the ski resort itself was pleasantly uncrowded. It appeared that some visitors were there simply for the joy of snow play. The resort offers a diverse range of courses catering to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced skiers. I noticed there were more areas with untouched snow than indicated on the ski map, likely due to fewer visitors seeking powder skiing conditions. Upon trying these areas, I discovered that the untouched snow course offered a high level of challenge, even on seemingly flat sections near the base. The resort base provides access to a short course on the right, a beginner's course, and an untouched snow course accessible via a quad lift. Additionally, there is an efficient high-speed pair lift at the back of the quad, ideal for medium slopes. Considering the altitude difference and excellent snow quality, I would highly recommend these courses. Throughout my visit, there was minimal wait time for the lifts, allowing me to ski at my own leisurely pace without encountering too many others on the slopes. Regarding dining options, there is a base restaurant and a snack restaurant in the hotel. I dined at the base restaurant, where, even at peak lunchtime, there were a few empty seats. Despite a short wait, the food was served promptly and was of a surprisingly high quality for a ski slope restaurant. Although I only visited for the day and was somewhat tired by the end, I found the slopes enjoyable and well-varied. In my opinion, the resort offers enough course variety to warrant an overnight stay for continuous skiing.”

“Upon my journey from the Tokyo area, I found that a brief detour off the expressway led me to Greenpia Tsunan. Despite the number of courses being somewhat limited, it was a delightful discovery that they cater to all ages, from children to adults. On days when the weather is clear, the views are simply spectacular, making for a very comfortable skiing experience. An added delight was the attached hotel, which boasts large hanging dolls and a lantern launch - elements that are bound to bring joy to children.”

“During my visit to Greenpia Tsunan in early February, I experienced a variety of weather conditions, including rain and heavy snowfall. The snow was so heavy that it obscured the view of my car at night. Despite the cold and discomfort it caused to my hands, the trip was worthwhile. I enjoyed a soak in the hot springs which was truly relaxing. The food was so incredibly satisfying that I found myself completely satiated to the point of immobility. Overall, the experience was enjoyable.”
