“The Nakiska location is a bit remote and during my visit, it was snowing heavily and rather foggy, which unfortunately obscured the usually lovely views. The staff interaction left something to be desired, lacking in the empathy department when we needed to change a snowboard due to snow stickiness. Initially, they were skeptical but eventually, they replaced the board which then worked well.
On another note, the gondola staff were more observer than helper in case of accidents. They'd stop the gondola but wouldn't offer further assistance which could be improved for a better customer experience. Signage could also be enhanced for more effective guidance.
Despite these, Nakiska remains one of the top spots for ski and snowboarding enthusiasts. It's recommended to start early when the mountains open to maximize the daylight hours as most of them start closing after 4 pm. There's an available space for belongings but it's outdoors and items could potentially get wet.
A noteworthy information is the need for a Kananaskis car pass allowing travel and parking within the county, although parking at Nakiska itself doesn't come with a charge.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Nakiska ski resort due to its numerous excellent runs and diverse terrain. Its proximity to Calgary is an added advantage. However, I found the food service staff to be somewhat lacking in friendliness and hospitality, which slightly marred an otherwise fantastic experience. If I could, I would rate it at 4.5 out of 5 stars.”

“I truly enjoyed my experience at Nakiska. Its proximity to the city is incredibly convenient. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, adding to the overall experience. The conditions of the place exceeded my expectations. I am certainly looking forward to my next visit.”

“Nakiska provides an excellent environment for children to learn skiing. It tends to be less populated than Winsport, which is a bonus. However, it does lose a bit of its charm due to the excessive iciness at the top on Gold, making it inaccessible at times. Apart from this minor setback, it's a fantastic ski hill and very accommodating for families.”
