“I found Nubs Nob Ski Area to be an exceptional local ski resort that is managed excellently. The grooming of the slopes is impeccable, making it a delightful experience. The staff is seasoned and amiable, providing outstanding service. It's definitely become my preferred destination for skiing.”

“My experience at Nubs Nob Ski Area was highly enjoyable. The staff was amicable and efficient, ensuring a swift transition onto the slopes without any complications. The snow, a blend of natural and artificial, was impressively maintained even in the early season around November 25. There were no bare spots, and it had more open areas than The Highlands. I wish they had a ski swap/pass program for my older kids, aged 9 and 10, which would make me choose Nubs Nob over Boyne every time. Regarding Boyne's 'Jr Has a Fit' program, I appreciate the annual gear swap, which enables us to ski anywhere. The discounted skiing at Boyne makes it the most cost-effective location, especially during the 'Holiday Rate' ski days - Christmas, New Years, MLK, Pday. However, over the years, Boyne's pass program has become less enticing with rising prices and reduced days, despite still being a good deal.”

What stood out was the complimentary access to the beginner hill, an excellent feature for those new to skiing. My companions, who are more proficient at skiing, also found the larger slopes to their liking. I look forward to returning to this wonderful ski area.”
