“Accessing Port del Comte was a breeze and I found plenty of available parking. Their selection for equipment rental was rather impressive. In particular, I must commend EL GALL FER for their exceptional service and efficiency. I highly recommend them.”

“I recently went for a snowshoe route at Port del Comte, specifically the Puig de les Moreres route which is about 3.5km with very little elevation gain. To start the route, the use of a chairlift is mandatory. The snowshoes and clubs were provided for a rental fee. The chairlift operates until 4:30 p.m. The route itself was fantastic and the day was just perfect. The landscape was breathtakingly beautiful. This leisurely walk can be completed in 2-3 hours, with an additional hour factored in for the chairlift ride and dealing with the snowshoe rental. However, I had a less-than-pleasant experience with a staff member at the station information booth. When I inquired about the routes that the station advertised on its website, I was informed that the access parking lot was closed due to snowfall. The staff member stated that they wouldn't wake up at the early hour of 5 a.m. to prepare the roads for routes that didn't generate them any income. I suggested that they could add a note on their website to indicate that access to these routes isn't always guaranteed. I had traveled a long distance for this experience and was baffled as to why this wasn't mentioned on the website. Unfortunately, the staff member responded in a manner that I perceived as arrogant and rude.”

“I had a great day at Port del Comte, even though I'm not a skier. The views were stunning and the trails were easy to navigate. However, the weather can get quite warm on a good day. Although the facilities are a bit aged, they are still adequate. It's advisable to get there early as it tends to get crowded. This location is suitable for both individuals and families. Highly recommended.”
