Rusutsu

“I visited Rusutsu on a weekday and found it to be conveniently located near two convenience stores. There were also restaurants in close proximity, but one must remember to make reservations ahead of time. However, during my visit, I noticed that some of the museum facilities were undergoing maintenance.”

“The accommodations at Rusutsu are slightly dated, yet the rooms are generously spacious and all amenities meet standard expectations. However, it's worth noting that the location is somewhat remote.”

“During my visit to Rusutsu, I noticed a group of athletic workers, about five to six of them, playfully engaged with belts and ropes, chatting and laughing. There was a light drizzle that day, which probably resulted in fewer customers. However, I expected to be guided around since we were present. A part-time worker, who I believe was Japanese, eventually broke away from the group to attend to us. Unfortunately, he didn't adequately explain how to put on the belt. Instead, he simply gestured and gave brief instructions. The instructions for an elementary school-aged child were also hastily given. When I inquired about borrowing a watch due to the time limit, he quietly draped a stopwatch around his neck without responding. Despite having a lifeline present, I observed that the children weren't playing. This attraction requires some caution, and since I was unsure of how it operated, there were numerous instances when I felt confused. Contrastingly, the foreign staff left a better impression on me. Their service was serious, they were always smiling, and they made an effort to communicate even if their Japanese was a bit confusing. I believe that two people would have been sufficient to provide the explanation and setup. The staff at other attractions were fairly average. If not for this, I would have rated my experience a 4-star. I visited Rusutsu on a public holiday and the wait time was up to 10 minutes. As for reservations, I am unsure if they are recommended.”
