Waterville Valley Resort

“I've always been fond of Waterville Valley Resort, it's a mountain my family and I hold dear. There were a few setbacks during our last visit though. We encountered some long queues and operational issues with the green chairlift, specifically Leroy's Loop. This slightly disrupted our day, especially for my youngest and myself. The skiing conditions were also less than ideal, with man-made snow layered over ice. Despite these challenges, we managed to have an enjoyable day. It's my hope that the resort could better anticipate busy periods and sort out these issues in the future.”

“I've been a regular visitor to Waterville Valley Resort for over three decades, and unfortunately, this year didn't meet my expectations. In terms of skiing, the conditions were satisfactory. However, the resort's dining options were limited, with only two restaurants that are open on weekends. The self-service food area offers average quality food, which doesn't quite match the value. The service at the bar was disappointing due to the staff's rudeness and sarcasm. Additionally, the lockers have been malfunctioning for years, necessitating assistance from staff to open them. It's regrettable to see the resort lose its family-friendly aspect, as it seems to overlook the families that have contributed to its success.”

“I thoroughly enjoy visiting Waterville Valley Resort, it's an ideal location for skiing with the family. The staff is incredibly attentive and the variety of fun runs is impressive. The provision of yummy snacks only adds to the overall positive experience. The Magic Carpet learning area, Lower Meadows progressive terrain park area, and the Valley Run area cater perfectly to beginners and early intermediates. Moreover, the addition of the new 6-person Tecumseh lift, which boasts state-of-the-art technology and comfort, is a fantastic feature.”

“My experience at Waterville Valley Resort was truly memorable. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected incident where my grandmother stumbled and her ski equipment flew into the air, causing an unfortunate accident with a bird. Regardless, the rest of our visit was incredible. The waffles were exceptionally decadent, smothered in so much chocolate that even the owner of TruMoo couldn't resist trying one. The quality of the snow was outstanding, it was so deep and powdery that it completely engulfed my brother during one of our skiing adventures. Overall, the resort offered an unforgettable experience.”
