“I make an effort to visit Winghills Shirotori Resort annually due to its enjoyable ski slope course. However, the journey there can be challenging due to numerous hairpin bends and constricted areas, which can make driving somewhat difficult. Parking also presents its own set of challenges as the multi-story car park has subpar communication conditions. This necessitates a trek down the stairs from the parking lot and then up again to reach the center house - a design I find inconvenient every time. Despite these downsides, the fun I have on the ski course always draws me back.”

“During my first visit to Winghills Shirotori Resort, I had the opportunity to ski on artificial snow. The weather was favorable and the ski course was well-maintained. On this particular day, I only skied in the morning and didn't have a chance to dine at the restaurant. However, I did notice their enticing November limited menu displayed on a sign. I'm already looking forward to my next visit during their high season.”

“Located in the Shiratori area of Gifu Prefecture's Okumino region, the Winghills Shirotori Resort is renowned for heavy snowfall. The drive to the resort involves crossing the Hinoki Pass with its steep slopes and winding curves, so carrying chains is highly recommended, regardless of whether your vehicle is 2WD or 4WD. Having opened in 1990, the resort is comparatively modern among ski resorts and is well-maintained by a reputable sporting goods company. With four restaurants housed within the center house and another one situated halfway up the slopes, there's a variety of meal options to choose from. However, the first floor of the center building can be chilly, so it may be best to stay on the second floor if you have children. The slope offers a diverse range of features and automatically returns you to the center building, making it perfect for group outings. Beginners and advanced skiers alike can appreciate the efficiency of a single gondola ride, which proves particularly useful during extremely cold or rainy days. With its beautiful scenery and pleasant atmosphere, the ski slope is a highly recommended destination.”

“The Winghills Shirotori Resort offers a wide variety of courses that cater to everyone's preferences. The terrain is broad and has an enjoyable mixture of slopes, providing a pleasant skiing experience. On weekdays, the resort is not overly crowded, adding to the overall comfort. One of the standout features of this resort is the availability of a gondola ride to the peak. This is a much more comfortable alternative to lifts, which can be quite chilly. The gondola feature is a rare find in many resorts. The resort's restaurant, spanning two floors, adds to the appeal. The second floor offers a magnificent view. The food is delicious, with the spaghetti being a personal favorite. Additionally, there is a cafe for those seeking a leisurely break. One small piece of feedback would be the addition of hot beverages, as currently only cold water is provided.”
