FLEX -YEAR ROUND WAGE- $21.69 plus Gratuity WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The purpose of this role is to lead the Porter team in delivering exceptional guest service by managing event space set-up and tear-down, maintaining standards, coordinating logistics, and supporting seamless conference and banquet operations. Manage guest relationships by setting clear service expectations, actively soliciting feedback, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.Lead and coach the Porter team in daily responsibilities, holding each team member accountable to service standards.Collaborate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure conference spaces are in proper working condition and meet guest standards.Supervise and assist with the set-up and tear-down of meeting rooms, stock linen, and oversee inventory management.Create bar requisitions from Banquet Event Order (BEO) information, ensuring requisitions are accurately filled and delivered to banquet bars.Support beverage control by conducting periodic audits and supervising transfer processes.Partner with sales and service teams to organize event diagrams, layouts, and guest flow to deliver seamless events.Manage inventory of room elements, including chairs, tables, linens, staging, and other guest supplies.Collaborate with Banquet leadership on Porter team scheduling to align with operational needs.Based on business volumes, may be required to work in other F&B operations for extended periods of timeEnsures tactical processes and standards are followed to support the achievement of the Strategic Plan.Ensures that daily expenses and labour schedules meet daily budget allocations.
