About Red River
Red River Ski & Summer Area is a versatile resort offering an array of recreational activities throughout the year, ensuring exhilarating experiences for all age groups. In the summer, the resort offers exciting tubing activities that are both enjoyable and refreshing. The winter season brings fantastic skiing opportunities, with a diverse range of trails and high-quality snow conditions to suit varying levels of proficiency. The resort's staff is noted for their friendliness and readiness to assist, thereby enhancing the overall guest experience. The accessibility of parking spaces, seamless lift ticket system, and on-site rentals contribute to the convenience of the resort. The location is also child-friendly, with smaller rides and slides for younger visitors to enjoy. For visitors seeking to take a break from the exhilarating activities, the resort offers breathtaking views and photo opportunities, particularly from the ski lift. Despite the hour-long ride, guests often find the experience worthwhile, offering a chance to take in the stunning surroundings. The resort's layout and organization are also commendable, with well-directed lines at the lifts ensuring quick and easy access. The proximity of the lifts to accommodation options is another advantage, allowing guests to conveniently access the slopes. However, some guests have found the width of certain trails somewhat narrow, causing concern for their children's safety. While the resort offers limited vending machine options and sometimes has restricted food and beverage services at the summit, the town's proximity allows guests to easily find alternative dining options. The resort has also received praise for its adherence to safety protocols, particularly in terms of enforcing mask-wearing. In summary, Red River Ski & Summer Area is a charming and engaging destination, reminiscent of a scene from a Hallmark movie. It offers a blend of fun-filled activities, picturesque views, and a welcoming environment, making it a preferred choice for both novice and advanced skiers, as well as families seeking a memorable vacation experience.
