“I visited Stratton Mountain Resort during the summer specifically for the bike park. I was particularly impressed by the 2-speed lift that accommodates 4 riders at a time. Although the runs were on the shorter side, they were quite enjoyable. The staff at the resort were amicable and the overall ambiance of the resort was pleasant. My visit was a solo trip.”

“I attended the 4th of July celebration at Stratton Mountain Resort, which was a delightful experience. My family and I enjoyed a fantastic meal at Mulligans. The quality of the food was simply excellent. The playground facilities offered plenty of fun for the kids, who also greatly enjoyed the live band performance. The resort had cotton candy available, and even offered face painting for the children, which they absolutely loved. Being at the mountain proved to be a truly enjoyable experience. As for the service and location, both were top-notch, earning a perfect rating of 5 each.”

“During my family's vacation at Stratton Mountain Resort, I found the ski lesson experience for my beginner-skier wife quite disappointing. She was left alone on the mountainside before the lesson was supposed to end, which was highly concerning for her safety. In addition, the technical support provided by the instructor during their two-person class was minimal. Even though my wife sought advice on specific techniques, the instructor was unhelpful, offering no drills or movement advice. Instead, he made the decision to take them on a blue slope with moguls, a choice that led my wife to remove her skis and walk to the bottom due to the unsafe conditions. The instructor's approach seemed to be more about supervising than teaching, focusing on completing many runs rather than working on technical skills. This was not what we had in mind when we signed up for a lesson. When my wife, exhausted from the numerous runs, asked for more breaks, the instructor asked her if she was done for the day. Feeling pressured, she agreed and asked for assistance getting down the mountain. However, the instructor merely pointed her in a direction and left. She had to rely on other instructors for directions to navigate her way back. When I confronted the instructor, he provided no explanation for his actions. Despite owning a property nearby, we will consider other skiing locations in the future due to this unsatisfactory experience.”

“Growing up, I had the good fortune of having friends with houses near Stratton Mountain Resort, which allowed me the opportunity to truly hone my riding skills. The resort's village is among the finest in the east, offering an enticing mix of excellent riding conditions and an easy drive from New Jersey. Whether it be for a weekend excursion or a pit stop en route to another mountain, my time spent here is consistently enjoyable. Additionally, the abundance of quality restaurants and bars in the village is a definite advantage. As a solo traveler, I found the service and location to be top-notch, both scoring a perfect 5.”
