Anilio Ski Resort, nestled in a beautiful location, offers a delightful blend of adventure and tranquility. Despite the smaller sizes of the chalets and limited availability of the main restaurant, the overall experience tends to leave a lasting impression. The ski slopes, while not extensive in number or length, offer a breathtaking view from the mountain top that compensates for their size. However, the condition of the road leading to the resort is noted for improvement.
The ski center, recognized for its not overly challenging trails, is suitable for both skiing and snowboarding. However, during high-demand periods, visitors are advised to bring their own ski equipment due to occasional shortages. The center is addressing this issue by expanding its boot-drying capacity for the winter season. The resort's structure is well-organized, supported by friendly and helpful staff, and hosts a variety of activities. The chalet serves great local food and warm coffee, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
The resort is family-friendly and offers a great experience for children, making it an ideal location for day trips. It resembles a mini Switzerland with its mostly easy slopes, making it a perfect place for beginners to learn skiing. The resort also offers snowmobile rentals and a cozy spot for drinks.
Despite some negative reviews regarding short and easy "red" runs, slushy snow, and limited operating hours, the resort's beautiful slopes, excellent chalet food, and super friendly staff balance out the overall experience. The resort can get busy on weekends, suggesting its popularity among visitors. The Christmas decorated cafe is a notable attraction, adding to the scenic beauty of the place.
Anilio Ski Resort is a well-organized ski center, ideal for beginners with its not-so-difficult tracks. The lifts are in good shape, and each piste is properly marked. The resort also boasts excellent food, an amazing chalet, and superior service. Despite some challenges, it remains a wonderful destination for winter activities.
