“My experience at Anilio was truly delightful. The ski slopes were a perfect fit for my children, aged 6.5 and 9.5, and they had a blast sledding, although the uphill trek was a bit tiring. The cable car ride offered a lovely view, but it was a bit on the pricey side for two adults and two children. It's crucial, however, to come prepared with the right clothing, especially if you have young ones with you. The snow can get you wet after a while, potentially altering your plans. Thankfully, there were clothing rentals available, so no worries if you forget to bring your own. Overall, Anilio is a place worth exploring and I would highly recommend it.”

“I had an enjoyable experience at Anilio ski center, which features slopes that are not overly challenging, making it suitable for both skiing and snowboarding. However, I'd recommend carrying your own ski gear as during peak times, the availability of dry boots can be an issue. I wasn't pleased with this aspect of my visit, but I've been assured that improvements are underway. They have plans to install a larger, more efficient oven next year to address the drying of boots more effectively.”

“Anilio stands out as a value-oriented resort with €15 day passes and excellent beginner facilities, including a wide beginner piste with magic carpet access. The six-lift system and well-planned infrastructure include unique features like the "love lake" for ice skating and a snowmobile piste. Despite occasionally challenging snow conditions, the resort maintains consistent grooming and excellent accessibility with well-managed parking. The resort benefits from its proximity to Metsovo, a town famous for its cheese production, and offers night skiing options plus a small terrain park. The terrain heavily favors beginners (70%) with a relatively good intermediate mix (24%), served by comprehensive facilities including multiple chalets and a smoke-free restaurant. While mobile reception is poor, the resort's friendly atmosphere and strong cultural elements create a compelling overall experience. If you do not need rental equipment, ski the ticket line and head to the bar as the bartender can sell lift tickets.”
