Fujiten Snow Resort

“I had the pleasure of experiencing winter sports like skiing and snowboarding at the Fujiten Snow Resort, which is conveniently located just a 90-minute drive from the city center. However, because the roads can be snowy and icy as you approach the resort, I'd suggest using studless tires for a safer journey. I observed that vehicles with summer tires struggled to climb the slope and had to install chains by the roadside. The Fujiten Members program, available on the snow resort's homepage, is truly a great value. After a temporary registration, followed by regular registration at the resort, I was able to benefit from several discounts. These included reduced prices on adult lift tickets and night game tickets, as well as on school fees. Additionally, I enjoyed free parking on weekends and holidays after my first visit, as well as a 20% discount on all menu items at the Yodele restaurant located on the 2nd floor of the Center House. I was particularly pleased with the cost-efficient lift tickets and the affordability of the typically expensive resort restaurants. This year, the ski resort had an abundance of natural snow, providing an enjoyable skiing experience for my family and me. The resort is also beginner-friendly with its well-designed courses. At the restaurant, I felt reassured knowing that they had implemented COVID-19 infection control measures. They have staff dedicated to disinfecting tables after each customer, which provided an added layer of safety during my visit.”

I noticed that while there are some international visitors, they generally spend their time enjoying the snow and practicing in the lower areas. This leaves the upper parts of the resort relatively vacant during weekdays, which could potentially be ideal for those looking to practice in a more secluded environment.”

It's quite enjoyable when not crowded, but the limited number of high-speed quads and other lifts can create a bottleneck in transportation. The peak of the slope tends to be populated with families and beginner boarders, making it less suitable for advanced skiers. However, its proximity makes it a fine choice for those seeking a relaxing day of winter sports.”

The resort offered a plethora of outdoor activities, making it a hit with both locals and international visitors alike. I was pleasantly surprised to find a souvenir shop inside the resort. Moreover, I really appreciated the convenience of having a coffee shop on-site, which provided a cozy spot for relaxation and refreshment.”
