“My stay at Gaustablikk Fjellresort was superb, meriting a full five-star rating. My group and I had two rooms, each accommodating four people comfortably. The rooms were spacious with a delightful mountain view that added a touch of serenity. Our beds were cozy, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep, and the bathroom was generously sized. We opted for the breakfast buffet, and it was truly exceptional with an expansive range of options. The overall experience at the resort was amazing, and I'm eager to return during the winter season, especially for snowboarding.”

“After an unexpected shift in our initial hotel booking, we found ourselves at Gaustablikk Fjellresort and we couldn't be happier with the turn of events. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The view is simply breathtaking, offering a panorama of Gaustatoppen and the surrounding mountains. The room, while a bit compact, was comfortable, although the pillows left something to be desired in terms of fullness. Nonetheless, the resort earns top marks for its overall accommodations. A standout feature was the floating sauna - a perfect way to unwind while still taking in the stunning views. We dined at the resort's restaurant and opted for the coursed meal. While the service was slower than expected and even required us to seek out a waiter to settle our bill after a lengthy wait, the food was delicious. The quiet, serene location coupled with the wonderful food made for an enjoyable dining experience. The reception area boasts a deck with a view that is nothing short of spectacular. Given more time, we would have loved to spend more hours simply taking in the scenery from there. For anyone considering a stay at this resort, we would wholeheartedly endorse it. It offers a great view and a tranquil setting that leaves one feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Travel was for vacation purposes and with family. Ratings for rooms, service, and location were 4, 4, and 5 respectively.”

“I enjoyed my time at Gaustablikk Fjellresort, particularly the beautiful ski center where slopes weave stunningly through nature and never seem too crowded. Yet, I encountered a few issues. The restaurants and hotel aim to provide an upscale standard, but I found that some staff members didn't fulfil this expectation, coming off as arrogant, inflexible and curt. As a first-time visitor, I found that many processes weren't clarified, leading to some confusion, such as needing to reserve a table at a largely vacant restaurant. This lack of clear communication detracted from my overall experience.”
