Golte Ski Resort, a family-friendly destination, is perfectly designed for both beginner and intermediate skiers. With its beautiful location, the ski slopes may be short, but they are beginner-friendly and not overcrowded, providing an ideal environment for learning. The ski instructors, especially at the ski school Beli Zajec, are highly recommended and particularly skilled at teaching younger learners.
In addition to winter sports, Golte offers year-round activities and attractions. In the summer, guests can experience the adventure park, which, although challenging, provides an exciting and fun-filled day for older children who enjoy adventurous activities. A cable car ride offers spectacular views, and there's also a newly built playground for younger visitors. For the more adventurous, there are opportunities for trekking along beautiful trails, with varying options to suit different skill levels.
The resort's amenities include a hotel with a bar situated at the top station of the cable car, offering the best coffee. However, some visitors have experienced less than satisfactory service at the reception. It's worth noting that there is no grocery store nearby and the resort's restaurant's offerings have been described as mediocre. Therefore, guests staying in apartment accommodations should be prepared for lots of stairs and consider bringing their own food.
The resort's location also offers a unique charm, where visitors can find a pond and cows during summer and well-groomed slopes during winter. The hotel, though praised for its panoramic views and convenient self-service for skiers, could improve its paths' winter cleaning. While it's a smaller resort, it provides a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful nature, making it an excellent choice for an extended weekend getaway for skiing, relaxing, and bonding with family or friends.
