“I've found Grand Targhee Resort to be an exceptional gem nestled within the Tetons, serving as a paradise for powder enthusiasts. The addition of the Doppelmeyer six-man high-speed lift has significantly improved the skiing experience, allowing for efficient access to previously hard-to-reach terrains. The resort provides impressively long runs with a consistent pitch, making it an appealing destination for intermediate and advanced riders. The extraordinary snow conditions at Targhee, known as the resort's "Fluff", facilitates effortless powder turns amidst a breathtaking setting. I find the resort's friendly ambiance and uncrowded slopes to be a pleasant change from other resorts that often suffer from short, icy runs and an over-commercialized atmosphere. While the resort does offer accommodations, I personally prefer to stay off-site, via an Airbnb in Idaho, just a 15-minute drive down the mountain. The road to this location is notably safe. As for dining, the Boz resort houses three authentic, yet quiet bars. The nearby town of Driggs offers an array of amazing food places, including a notable Thai restaurant and the Forge, a restaurant on the airport strip that locals formerly considered the best in Idaho. Overall, Grand Targhee's extraordinary snow, lengthy descents, and the improved access granted by the Doppelmeyer lift make it a top-notch destination for genuine mountain enjoyment. This makes it an ideal spot for couples on holiday, due to its great views, romantic setting, quiet atmosphere, and kid-friendly environment.”

“The location of Grand Targhee resort is exemplary; it's situated near the ski slope eliminating the need for transport. Shops and dining venues are readily available within the premises, making my stay convenient. One improvement could be extending the operating hours of the on-site grocery store. While relaxation options are present, my peace was disrupted by noisy guests and a rather noisy air conditioning system past 10 PM. The lack of sufficient storage for ski gear was noticeable and I would have appreciated a warm duvet to enhance the comfort of my stay. Despite these minor inconveniences, my overall experience was positive. The food was consistently superb, the coffee satisfying, and the ambiance of the place was quite pleasant. I would recommend Grand Targhee for anyone seeking a conveniently located ski resort. My group consisted of friends and we were on holiday. I would rate the rooms, service and location as 3, 4 and 5 respectively. The room's standards were basic.”

“I had the pleasure of experiencing fantastic skiing at Grand Targhee. Although the visibility was somewhat limited, the terrain was magnificent and the powder soft. My stay was at the Super8 in Driggs, which exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort. I was there on a holiday with my friends and the overall experience offered great value.”

“I had an amazing experience at Grand Targhee! Despite its small size, the mountain is absolutely incredible. The staff is so welcoming and it's never too crowded. Don't forget to grab a beer at the trap. The food is not only delicious but also of great value. I particularly loved the chicken pot pie. When the clouds part, the views are simply breathtaking. I was on a holiday trip with friends and the service and location were both top-notch. The view and value of the place are exceptional.”
