“I had a pleasant visit to Hyland Hills during the week. The experience was definitely more enjoyable than just sitting on the couch at home. There was no wait time and making a reservation wasn't necessary. It was a smooth and enjoyable experience overall.”

“I thoroughly enjoy skiing at Hyland Hills, it's my preferred spot within the Minneapolis-St.Paul metro. I visited on a weekday and found the wait time to be fairly short, up to 10 minutes at most. I didn't need a reservation, which was convenient for my spontaneous visit.”

“Hyland Hills is indeed a magnificent facility, and its exceptional maintenance of the runs and terrain park, even in challenging winter conditions, is commendable. However, I was deeply troubled by the instances of prejudice, racism, homophobia, and bullying I experienced in the terrain park. I found myself assisting a foreign exchange student who was struggling with her binding after a collision, while she was being mocked by others for her lack of English proficiency. In another instance, a young adult persistently bullied my young son, attempting to dislodge him from the tow rope, which negatively affected his attitude towards the sport. These incidents were jarring and diminished the overall positive experience at Hyland Hills.”

“My numerous visits to Hyland Hills have been delightful, making it a perfect ski area for family fun. The ski runs are of good quality, though I wouldn't term them as overly challenging. The only downside I've experienced is the length of the lines at the ski lifts, which can sometimes make you feel like you're spending more time waiting than actually skiing, despite their efforts to manage them. The chalet is reasonably comfortable with a decent amount of seating and a variety of food options. Overall, Hyland Hills is a lovely local ski area. I would recommend making a reservation, especially during the weekend, to keep the wait time within 10 minutes.”
