Hyounosen Kokusai Ski Resort, nestled in Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture, is a haven for family-friendly winter fun. Its reputation for being a paradise for families is underscored by the provision of free entry for kids under six years old, and free usage of toys in the kids' park. The resort's popularity is evident, especially during holidays when parking spaces are quickly filled, necessitating a convenient lift system to transport guests and their luggage up to the ski areas.
The resort prides itself on its exceptional customer service, with numerous reviews highlighting the warmth and kindness of the staff. The restaurant, patrollers, and ski slope staff are all commended for their helpfulness and consideration, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for throughout their visit.
The ski resort is also a preferred choice for seasoned skiers seeking to hone their skills. Its practice ranges and permanent pole barn (available for a fee) appeal to those looking to improve their technique. Notably, the resort is known for its meticulous maintenance, even during peak snowfall.
A key feature of the resort is its efficient lift system, which transports guests from the parking lot to the lift ticket office and then onto the main ski areas. The main course, the Romance Right Course and the Left Course offer varied experiences for skiers of different proficiency levels.
The Romance Right Course, with its intermediate slope and pleasant one-seat burn, is particularly popular for practicing. The main slope is praised for its optimal length and width, making it a favorite for both novice and intermediate-level skiers.
Practical amenities such as clean restrooms, spacious rest areas, and rental services add to the overall convenience. However, guests are advised to be prepared for minor inconveniences such as oil drips from the lift and a ban on eating or drinking in the rest areas.
Hyounosen Kokusai Ski Resort, with its blend of family-friendly features, excellent customer service, and well-maintained ski areas, is an easy choice for a memorable winter getaway.
