“My experience at Kagamiganaru was quite enjoyable. The ski resort, though petite, comes with a 200m lift, making it a perfect place for youngsters to hone their skiing turns and enjoy playing in the snow. The visibility across the whole ski slope is excellent, which eliminates the concern of children getting lost. An impressive feature of this place was the abundant snowfall, possibly one of the highest in the Chugoku region.”

The presence of a drink vending machine added to the convenience. Moreover, the slope in front of the entrance provided a shaded area, making it an ideal spot to sit and take in the beautiful surroundings. I visited on a weekend and was pleased by the absence of any waiting time. I also found that there was no need for a reservation.”

The sight was absolutely breathtaking, with the pampas grass clumps creating a spectacular backdrop for some wonderful photos against the autumn foliage. I highly recommend getting there early, around 8 or 9 in the morning, to avoid the crowds and to witness the autumn leaves under the slanting sunlight, which makes them look even more stunning.”
