Kurza Góra is a well-regarded ski resort, commended for its excellent facilities and stellar service, particularly with children. The resort takes safety seriously, promptly stopping conveyor belts if a child falls. With three tracks open for skiing this year, Kurza Góra has proven its capacity to maintain the slopes even during warmer conditions. The resort offers good visibility even after sunset, though it can get busy during weekends.
The resort is a haven for beginners, offering patient assistance from staff members particularly at the top of the conveyor lift. The kindness and patience of the staff have been frequently appreciated by visitors. In addition to winter activities, Kurza Góra is also an interesting destination in the summer, offering a sky walk, ample parking, and a restaurant.
Efficiency at the rental and ticket counters could be improved, as there have been reports of long queues for equipment rental and lift passes. However, once on the slopes, the trails are well-groomed although relatively short, ideal for beginners.
The on-site restaurant adds to the appeal of the resort, offering delicious food including an 'absolutely awesome' fish soup. While some find the restaurant prices steep for locals, they are considered reasonable for tourists.
Despite its popularity, parking doesn't seem to be an issue even on busy days. However, visitors are advised to buy lift tickets before heading to the equipment rental shop to save time. All three slopes are usually open and the food at the restaurant is consistently praised.
The resort is a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway, with additional attractions like a playground and souvenir shop. The resort offers a good infrastructure, comparable to a full-scale ski resort. However, there's room for improvement in staff assistance, particularly with the T-bar lift which has been reported to have occasional accidents. Visitors can expect to have a wonderful time at Kurza Góra, enjoying great views and a variety of activities in a safe, family-friendly environment.
